I was working in sales for a crane company and other companies for 17 years. Working 5 to 7 days a week and trying to also run around after my 2 teenage children was almost impossible. Then, to make matters worse, I was made redundant from 2 jobs within a 12-month period and the need for security and flexibility was put sharply into focus.

So, my partner, Anne and I started looking seriously for new opportunities.

We looked at several franchise businesses, but when we saw Xpresso Delight advertised through the TV we were immediately interested. Everybody loves coffee and the way the business is structured just made sense to us, in particular the option of starting off the business on a part time basis.
